Ben Hupfer, born in Cologne, has been a freelance photographer and illustrator since August 2007. He lives and works in Hamburg. He has realized international projects in the areas of people, architecture and landscape with various agencies in the studio and on location.
Special features are the use of morning and evening backlighting and the combination of some photos with the artist’s own illustrations.
He is inspired by the films, magazines and the general atmosphere of the 1950s and 60s due to their curious approach to design and a
relatively harmonious formal language across the media.
